Western Pump — User Creation and Onboarding

PROCEDURE & OVERVIEW WI for handling WP New User Onboarding Requests. Onboarding Requests will come to the cIT intake mailbox generated by a WP M365 Form.

KEY ROLES & INFORMATION

  • Western Pump (SD & RC) and AZ locations have two different domains both in the same M365 Tenant

  • WP = @westernpump.com

  • AZ = @doehrman.com

  • Client POC is responsible for having any requested used equipment available for New Hire.

  • Except for Telework Only requests, New & Used computers are configured/imaged at each WP Site Location

  • Device should be connected to the LAN for easier imaging

  • Local POC should be able to assist with the following actions (Reference KB00002147 [retired]):

  • Ensure imaging device is on the network

  • Assist with which printers to add for the user

  • Ensure peripherals are available

  • Tag the device

  • Username & Email format

  • Username: firstl (eg John Doe would be johnd, add a sequential number if username already exists)

  • Email:

  2. Use the Assigned Buddy in the Onboarding Request Ticket to mirror/copy account_._
  3. NOTE: If you Buddy is missing from AD contact vITM

  6. Arizona 1432 & Arizona 2324**: wp.local > Western Pump > Users > Arizona Employees**
  7. Username Requirements/Standard: firstl (eg John Doe would be johnd, add a sequential number if username already exists)
