PROCEDURE

WI for when Western Pump users call in with access issues to the Jonas PBA.

Symptoms > Common Solution:

• End-User Jonas Application freezes or stops responding > Restarting stop Services on the Jonas Server.
• RDP or connection errors > Restarting stop Services and/or processes on the Jonas Server
• Datamart Errors > Jonas Server Services may need restarting, processes on the Jonas Server ended, & application restarted

REQUIREMENTS

• Password State > Domain\Service Accounts > Jonas AD Account
• NCentral > Western Pump > WESTPUMP-JONAS (westpump-jonas.wp.local)

STEPS

1. Checking Server Services are running:
2. Start > Search & Open Services
3. Make sure the following Services are Running:
4. Jonas Communication Service
5. Jonas Data Watcher Service
6. Jonas Digio Service
7. Jonas Web Server
8. Jonas FileBeat
9. SQL Server (MSSQLSERVER)
10. SQL Server Agent (MSSQLSERVER)
11. SQL Server Analysis Services (MSSQLSERVER)
12. SQL Server Analysis Services CEIP (MSSQLSERVER)
13. SQL Server Browser (MSSQLSERVER)
14. SQL Server CEIP service (MSSQLSERVER)
15. SQL Server Reporting Service (MSSQLSERVER)
16. Have End-User open/test their Datamart software again
17. If issues persist, open Jonas DataMart Interface on the Jonas Server \Desktop
18. If you receive the error below:

20. Open up Task Manager
21. Close out DataMart (if running).
22. Close out the majority of the processes named PxPlus (Steps provided by previous MSP, please document and update this WI with “all” the processes closed)
23. Start > Search cmd > Right-Click > Run as Administrator
24. Run the following command
25. get-Process -Name sbbwin* | Stop-Process
26. NOTE: When you’re down to around 2 or 3 PxPlus processes left, they’ll begin to open up automatically. 
27. Open up DataMart again, and stay on until it connects and the End-User can start processing WOs.
