This guide is to demonstrate how to book a room in Outlook. This is serving as the new public calendars. Use this if you need to reserve a space for an in-person meeting.

Use this if you need to reserve a space for an in-person meeting.”* Any old events already created in calendars before migration will need to be edited by the IT team. Please provide the Name of Event, Organizer, Date & Time, and what changes need to be made. (This will be temporary).
1. To use the Rooms function, create a new appointment.
2. Click Invite Attendees.
3. Click on Required.
4. Click the drop-down for the address book and select “All Rooms”.
5. Find the room that you need. Give a single click and then click on Resources to add it to the line, then click OK.
6. It will add these resources to the required line in the email. Add other attendees, finalize details (such as date and location), then click send:
7. You can also use the Scheduling Assistant to see your attendees and rooms schedule.
8. Once you send the invitation, you will then receive an email from the room either accepting or declining the meeting (only will be declined because there is a conflicting meeting in that room).
9. You will then see your meeting scheduled on your calendar.
