This is a work instruction on how to clear your cache/cookies on any Internet browser. We will cover the following Internet browsers:
- Google Chrome
- Firefox
- Internet Explorer/Edge
- Safari
Google Chrome
Section titled “Google Chrome”Go into the settings for Chome by clicking on the 3 vertical dots located on the top right of your browser. Select Settings from the menu.
Select (1) Privacy and Security, then select (2) Clear Browsing Data.
Select the (1) Advanced tab, (2) hit the drop down and select All Time, (3) check the boxes shown below. Click Clear Data.
A spinning icon will appear indicating that the browser is working on clearing your cache/cookie data. When it disappears, the process is complete. Close the browser(s) and then reopen to finalize the process.
Firefox
Section titled “Firefox”Open Firefox, (1) click on the 3 bars, (2) select Options.
Click on (1) Privacy & Security and click (2) Clear Data.
Once the data is clear, close the browser and reopen to complete the process.
Microsoft Edge/Internet Explorer
Section titled “Microsoft Edge/Internet Explorer”Open Microsoft Edge browser.
Press the keys [Ctrl] + [Shift]+[Del], to bring up the Clear Browsing Data menu.
On the drop-down menu, (1) select All Time, (2) check the first 4 boxes (as shown in the picture).
Click Clear Now.
A spinning icon will appear indicating the browser is cleaning data. When the icon disappears, the process is finished. Close and reopen the browser to complete.
Safari
