For a new laptop:
o Setup as localuser
o PW: SDHS-gm#5309
o Discoverable – yes
o For Organizational use
o Sign in with domain “Domain Join Instead”
o Localuser as name
§ Use GM password: SDHS-gm#5309
o For security question do first question with SDHS as PW
o Don’t allow Biometrics
o Don’t allow Keep a history
This PC:
o Right click on this PC and change properties
o Laptop with start with SDHS or work stations GSC
§ Under computer name click on change settings
§ Click on Change
o Use the serial number on the computer and join to domain sdhumane.net
§ For Laptops label SDHS-xxxxxxxx (Exception for HLE) use HLE-xxxxxxx
§ For Standalone machines (Desktop, SFF, Mini, and AIO) use the campus tag first. Ex. GSC, APR, SLR, ECC, ESC
o Use Sdhs_Ctac creds to verify creds
o Log into Ctac
o Set up a temp folder
o Access the IT drive in this PC

o Office 2019 PC and Workstation
o On laptop copy Cisco
- Workstation Folder
o Run Ninite app
- Office 2019 pc folder
o Extract the setup file to the same location
o Open cmd in admin and follow instructions in the instructions notepad
o On newer PC you will need to uninstall office 365
o Activate the license by opening on of its programs
o Download Agent from N Central and install onto computer
- Continue with normal provisioning procedures
o Run updates Lenovo and Microsoft
o Set default programs
o Sign into user outlook and set them up
o Make Ctac a admin user
o Add to computers in AD
Office 365 (current as of 3/2/21):
Creating new user start in OnPrem Exchange:
· Sign into OnPrem Exchange with sdhs\SDHS_Ctac
· Click on recipients
· Click on the plus add Office 365 mailbox
· Fill out the appropriate fields and hit save
· Sign into DC2
o Find User In Active Directory
o Fill in information pertaining to the General, Account, Profile, Organization, and
o Member of in relation the new hire form EE (HR) provides
o SDHS\User logon First name last initial
o Set new password and create account
o Under Profile Tab: Set login script
o Under “Member of” Add appropriate groups (only Domain Groups)
· Log into DC 2 and run the PowerShell script
\> Start-ADSyncCycle -PolicyType Delta
· Office 365 admin
o Search the user could take a few minutes to populate
o Add the Licenses and this will populate the email (will take a couple of minutes to populate the email)
o Go to Groups Tab -> Active Groups
§ Add to appropriate group
· Login to Exchange admin center
o Search for user back in Office 365
o Search user
o Add license standard E1 and F3
o Business Premium for Supervisors, Managers and Above. (See VITM for Approval.)
o (E3 is senior leadership. See VITM for Approval)
