Prosperity Now — Creating a User in NAV

  1. Log in to the NAV server via SC, see PWDSTATE for creds.
  2. Open “Dynamics NAV”
  3. Use centrexit@prosperitynow.org M365 creds in PWDSTATE.
  4. Go to “Departments”, “IT Administration”, “General” and click “Users”.
  1. Click “New”
  1. Enter Username, firstinitalLastname. Enter full name. Enter Authentication email (users m365 email). Change Authentication Statue to “Active”. Hit “OK”.
  1. After user is created, select from list of users and click “Permission Sets” to set permissions.
  1. Set permissions, ask requestor if not provided in request. Read = READ Edit = D365-BASIC Admin = SUPER. Other granular permission on request. Hit “OK”
  1. Report to requestor that user is created. They can access the server by RDP at 10.0.0.4 and log in to “Dynamics NAV”
