Login to the domain controller. JJ-DC1

Open Active Directory Users and Computers.

Locate the JGD Domain User OU and locate the account in question and disable it.

Open Powershell on DC

sync AD to 365 with the command: Start-ADSyncSyncCycle -PolicyType Delta

Login to portal.office.com

Double-check check the user has access disabled to his account.
- Under Sign-out, click on Sign out of all sessions

If forward is checked, set this up to the email provided on the form.

You will not make any changes to the MS365 license.

Toggle global address visibility OFF in MS 365. If this does not work set the user attribute in AD. Set value to True.

If convert is checked, proceed to convert the user mailbox to a shared mailbox and provide access to the user provided on the form.

You will remove the assigned MS365 license.

Toggle global address visibility OFF in MS 365.

You will not make any changes to the MS365 license.

User Profile Data
Section titled “User Profile Data”-
If it is requested to archive the user data, you will need remote access to the computer/laptop and you will copy all items under the desktop, my documents and downloads to :

\\jjdc02\Archive Data

Make sure you create a folder with the name of the user being terminated.
Microsoft 365 access
Section titled “Microsoft 365 access”-
If this box is checked you will sign the user out of all Office 365 sessions in MS365.

If you have converted to shared please proceed to remove all licenses assigned to the user.
Hardware
Section titled “Hardware”- Schedule pick up if requested.
