Verify Donna Vargo has set up user in the JJCAFE admin database before you begin this process.

Verify user is in JJCafe Security Group AND JJFS-OFFICE-RW in Active Directory.

Open JJ06156-2 (Old AIA) – Note: If this is off, log into JJDC01 and open Chrome, then navigate to https://192.168.0.51/ui/#/login - login creds are documented in PWDState under ESXI-1 – Power on machine under VMs.

Log into Old AIA machine as jajadmin.(domain creds)

Once logged in to JJ06156-2 (Old AIA), open the cm.mdb (Location: \\Common (W:)\JJCAFE\cm.mdb) – Note: you may have to click Open then OK multiple times.

Once the database is open, double-click on Person to open the Person table.

Left-click on FirmID in the table headings, then right-click and choose Sort Ascending.

Locate the user and make sure they have a FirmID of 1, then take note of the PersonID.

Close the database.

Open the password.mdb (Location: \\Common (W:)\JJCAFE\password.mdb) – Note: you may have to click Open then OK multiple times.

Scroll to the bottom of the database and there will be a blank box for UserName. Put the user’s username in here and update the UserID to match the PersonID found in the cm.mdb.

Close the database.

Open up the server JJCAFE.

Open the AdminTools Application that is pinned to Start, click the Blue Server button, then click Client Generator.

Fill in the user’s domain logon name and password, then click Create Client.

You will then need to create a folder on the C: drive of the workstation of the person you are setting up.

The folder needs to be named JJCAFE.

Copy the Remote Desktop icon you just created from the JJCafe server to the folder location on the C: drive.

Create a shortcut to that icon and place the shortcut on the user’s desktop.

Test launching the icon; this is what you should see:
