Granite Gold User Offboarding Steps

Active Directory

Section titled “Active Directory”
  1. Disable the user in AD and reset the password
  2. Documented groups with a screenshot and attach to ticket
  3. Remove the user groups
  4. Clear the direct report in the Organization tab
  5. set the user mail name
  6. make sure the email address section is set on the user’s profile
  7. Hise user from Address Book within user attributes
  8. Move AD user object to disabled users OU

M365 Admin Center

  1. Block account sign-in within M365 and reset the password
  2. Convert to a shared mailbox
  3. Give the manager, or whomever POC requests, access to their data/mailbox
  4. Documented groups with a screenshot and attach to ticket
  5. remove the groups
  6. Remove M365 license
  7. Navigate to EntraID and reset the users Authentication methods and Sessions

Confirm with POC steps completed and ask for pending items/special requests
