Purpose:
Section titled “Purpose:”Certificate needs to be configured so users can connect to the RDS.
Scope:
Section titled “Scope:”This affects most of GPW since they use this RDS for most PBA’s.
Responsibility:
Section titled “Responsibility:”Service Desk will use this work instruction to renew the certificates every year.
Completion Criteria:
Section titled “Completion Criteria:”Once completed, you can verify by checking the certificate tied to the RDS web address. You can also confirm that the new RDS icons were distributed by logging into the Gold RDS server with the testRDS user account found in 1Password.
Records:
Section titled “Records:”Proof should be captured in the Alert ticket or CC.
Steps:
Section titled “Steps:”- Enter instructions on how the task is completed – include video, screen shots, or text
- Repeat for each step (should be less than 10 steps – if more steps are required, determine is it should be a SOP)
Process References:
Section titled “Process References:”- Create a relationship back to related process. Note: Please add KB relationships to core process, process, SOPs or other WIs on the right.
