  • Please use this WI to help update EVP Office on the following RDS Session Hosts

  • GPWRDSSH-GOLD (Can be used to test software install prior to window)

  • EVP Office suite is updated to the latest version per vendor site

  • Following hosts have the software update:

  • GPWRDSSH9

  • NOTE: End-users or client POC typically gets communications about new software releases


  • Halo Ticket

  1. Schedule maintenance window with Client POC
  • If an end-user reports needing the update please confirm the urgency (this will help determine the priority by the POC)
  1. 1Password > Software\APPs > EVP Office
  • Contains the most recent software key from the vendor

  • PBA Owner (authorized user to contact vendor)


cIT Software Update Process

  1. Login to the Connection Broker GPWRDSCB1 and block all connections to the host servers. To do that open Server Manager > Remote Desktop Services > Collections > Host Servers.
  2. Right click GPWRDSSH3 thru SH9 and select the “do not allow new connections…” button then select OK.
  3. Next make sure all users are logged off.
  4. You will need to connect to GPWRDSSH5 server in order to log off users from that host.
  5. From server manager, look at Connections, find any user other than yourself and right click and log off. All users from the RDS servers must be logged off to continue to next step.
  • NOTE: You should send them a message (right click user, send message) and ask they save their work and log off. Give them a few minutes, if they do not log off themselves, then force them out. They should know to be off the server if this was scheduled maintenance.
  1. On each Session Host (review Purpose & Completion Criteria Section) open the EstateVal software
  2. In the toolbar there should be a new version available


  1. Click the Download button to get the .exe


  1. Run through the install
  2. Open EstateVal
  3. You should get the prompt below when opening the app (Info Key is in 1Password, reference Requirements Sections)
  • Account Information Key: (1Password)

  • Company Name: GATT



  1. Click OK
  2. In the Toolbar go to Help > About EstateVal
  3. Confirm version is the same from https://www.evpsys.com/software/release


End-User Experience Post Update

  1. Next time end-user opens one of the EVP Office apps they will get prompted for the following information (Info Key is in 1Password, reference Requirements Sections)
  • Account Information Key: (1Password)

  • Company Name: GATT



  1. Contact GPW client POC if the Account information Key needs to be updated.
  2. Click OK
