  1. Log into the mgmt PC for FSA
  2. Open a browser and navigate to konicanew:9191/admin
  3. Select the printer that is having the issue Devices > Printer
  4. Scroll down to device status
  5. If papercut is working properly then the device status will say ‘Started’
  6. If there is an error code like ‘Error: changeAuthenticationSetting: error=8, message=Not exist static screen’. Proceed with the following troubleshooting steps
  7. Scroll up and select ‘Advanced Config’
  8. Search for ‘over’ and change the two values to ‘Y’
  9. Search for ‘force’ and change the ‘force-app-registration’ key to ‘Y’
  10. Hit update all
  11. Check on the device status and see if it changes to ‘Started’
  12. If it does, go ahead and change the keys back to their default values
