Steps:
Section titled “Steps:”- Prerequisite Steps (Should be completed a few days prior to the Halo ticket submission:

Identify the 2-5 users that will have files restored each time and have them complete the following. Record the users that will do the following

- Create a Outlook folder called “Test Restore” with 5-10 files/emails that can be restored.

- Create a onedrive folder in the users one drive with the name “Test Restore”, add 5-10 generic files for restore

Identify 1-2 teams or sharepoint sites and create a folder in that site called “Test Restore” with 5-10 generic files for restore - Record these sharepoint/teams sites
- Create a re-occuring planner task for the client with the users and sharepoint/teams site information to reoccure every quarter in the clients planner space with the details from step 1.
- When that planner task is due for completion for the quarter, create a Halo request ticket with the users and folder details from step 1 as the listed items to be restored in the request ticket.
- Name the ticket “ClientName - current Year & month - M365 Test restore” (Example: KPE - 2024-10 - M365 Test restore)
- Assign the ticket to Centralized Services Team.
- After CS completes the ticket, mark the client test restore planner ticket completed.
- Repeat these steps each quarterly date for each client with M365 Backups.
