1. Navigate to the Space Tree, find client space and expand dropdown menu. Select Manage Bundles, on following screen for Halo comanageIT bundle select Installed (default should be No access).
2. Switch into client space, verify the comanageIT Service Portal menu item is present.
3. Create a new group in client space, for comanageIT Analyst work assignments. Name should be client name followed by “Assignment Group” (e.g. Prometheus Laboratories Assignment Group), enter group ID (e.g. prometheus_laboratories_assignment_group) and set group number to 42000 and type of Assignment. Save.
4. For each comanageIT Analyst user to be configured, add the comanageIT schema to person record and add as member(s) to the new assignment group.
5. Create a second group named Halo comanageIT Analysts, group ID: halo_comanageit_analysts, group number of 1000. For Includes groups tab add the previously created assignment group. For Includes functions tab add the Halo comanageIT Analyst functional access group. Save.
6. In Company picker for client click Manage then go to Halo comanageIT bundle preferences. Upload the Halo comanageIT service portal home logo. Set new assignment group as the default ticketing assignment group. Save.
7. In comanageIT Service Portal edit the New Incident and New Request newdetails.comanageIT.* pages to set Assignment Group value to the new client assignment group.
8. Edit the actions (in top/Production space) “Require time entry on incident resolution” and “Require time entry on request completion” to add Condition to chain of: AND Assignment Group IS NOT <client comanageIT assignment group created in Step 3>.
9. Edit the actions (in top/Production space) “Incident closure survey - End user” and “Simple request closure survey - End user” to add Condition to chain to exclude (IS NOT) newly created assignment group from Step 3.
10. Impersonate user(s) in client space and comanageIT bundle to validate access and functionality. Please note that some of these settings may need to be reconfigured/verified after the Halo comanageIT bundle is updated if there is a conflict!
