Zapier is a tool that helps different apps work together. It allows you to automate tasks between your favorite apps without needing any coding skills. You can create “Zaps,” which are automated workflows connecting two or more apps to make your work more efficient. For example, you can set up a Zap to automatically save email attachments to Google Drive or post your Instagram photos directly to Twitter. Zapier makes these connections happen seamlessly.


Zapier is utilized by Sales, Marketing, and Operations for a variety of automated workflows.


Zaps inside of the Zapier platform are kept in three main folders for simple organization. “LIVE ZAPS”, “DISABLED ZAPS”, & “DEV & TESTING ZAPS”

SERVICE DESK/NOC - Connectivity Alerts
Zap Admin: Network Operations Center Team
Workflow Steps:

  1. XML Data from N-Able RMM is Transmitted to Zapier Webhook
  2. Zapier Receives and Parses Data
  3. Message Posts to Microsoft Teams Channel “Connectivity” in the “centrexIT - Team One” team.
  4. Send email to “ConnectivityAlerts@centrexit.com

SERVICE DESK/NOC - Primary Notification - NABLE XML POST TO ZAPIER - CS
Zap Admin: Network Operations Center Team
Workflow Steps:

  1. XML Data from N-Able RMM is Transmitted to Zapier Webhook
  2. Zapier Receives and Parses Data
  3. Message Posts to Webex Space “OPS - NCENTRAL SYSTEM ALERTS”
  4. Message Posts to Microsoft Teams Channel “Connectivity” in the “centrexIT - Team One” team.

DESIGN DESK - IT Deal Desk Direct Contact Form Submission to Teams
Zap Admin: Dylan Natter
Description: After the code runs, the form submission from Design Desk’s IT Deal Desk will be sent to a Microsoft Teams channel and create a new contact and deal in HubSpot.

DESIGN DESK - IT Deal Desk Voicemail
Zap Admin: Dylan Natter
Description: This automation helps to process voicemail messages from the IT Deal Desk. It retrieves the voicemail from Office365, filters it, formats the text, and sends it as a message to the IT Deal Desk channel in Microsoft Teams.

Description: After the code runs, a webhook will be triggered and an email will be sent using Microsoft Office 365.

NATTER/ZAPIER - ZAP ALERTS - SEND SMS TO DN ON ERROR

Description: After the code runs, this automation will send an SMS to the designated number when there is an error in the Zap.

PZZLE - Schedule webhook

Description: This automation receives ticket details, converts date and time, creates calendar events, sends invites, and updates tickets in Pzzle Prod.

PZZLE - Scheduler Event Notifications

Description: After the code runs, event messages will be received in the “Schedule” mailbox, and notifications will be sent to the appropriate Microsoft Teams channels based on the event status.

SALES - CF7 - centrexIT.com - Get Started “Sales” Form Fill Webhook
Zap Admin: Dylan Natter
Description: After the code runs, a message will be sent to a Microsoft Teams channel and an SMS will be sent using Twilio, triggered by a webhook from a web form submission.

SERVICE DESK - CF7 - centrexIT.com - Get Started “Service Request” Form
Zap Admin: Dylan Natter
Description: Each time a “Service Request” form is completed on centrexIT.com, a Zapier webhook receives the form data and posts a new message to the Microsoft Teams “Website TK Form Submissions” channel under the “centrexIT - Service Desk” team

SERVICE DESK - Intake Queue Zap (Cisco Contact Center to Teams)

Description: After the Zap runs, it will take incoming emails and send them as channel messages in Microsoft Teams, helping to streamline communication and keep everyone in the loop about queue times on Cisco Contact Center

SERVICE DESK - SendGrid Bounce Event Webhook

Description: After the code runs, a message will be sent to a Microsoft Teams channel whenever a webhook event is triggered by SendGrid’s bounce event.
