Steps:
Section titled “Steps:”- Prequisite: Client must be setup in cIT Microsoft Teams as a Team
- In teams admin center, find the “Client - Company Name” team site matching the Company Name you are seting up.
- Open that teams admin center.
- The URL for the page will contain the needed Key. The URL will look something like this: “https://admin.teams.microsoft.com/teams/manage/26e7df90-a8fb-4306-9dce-666c06f2803h” the KEY for the integration is the “26e7df90-a8fb-4306-9dce-666c06f2803h” part at the end of the URL.
- Copy the Key from step 4
- open Halo, locate the client
- On the Company info page, look for the schemas in the upper right corner and select the “+” symbol
- Select the microsoft schema from the list
- Under Teams on the next page paste the Key from step 4 in the “Internal Teams Group ID” box.
- Open microsoft teams app in another window and locate the “Client - Company Name” team and general client channel and right click the general channel and select “Get link to channel”
- Copy the URL that appears and paste it in the “Internal Team Group ID URL” on the Halo microsoft schema page
- Save and close the schema.
