This documentation uses KPE as an example environment.

1. Create Local Administrator Account in Users and Groups

2. localuser \ password (Reference PWstate for credentials)

3. Enable “Allow user to administer this computer”

4. Navigate to System Preferences > Sharing > Remote Log on > Enable > Add user Localuser and Administrators Group

**NOTE: This is required so that N-Central can SSH in, silently install the N-Central Agent, and execute bash scripts.**

5. Download and Install Ncentral Agent, keeping all defaults as it walks you through the process.(if not done already-follow WI)

6. After the N-Central MAC agent has been installed, please verify the following security permissions are set under Security & Privacy menu
