AAIM User Offboarding Steps:

M365 Admin Center:

Section titled “M365 Admin Center:”
  1. Login into M365 and convert to a shared mailbox
  2. Block user sign-in in M365 & reset pw in AD
  3. Give the manager, or whomever POC requests, access to their data/mailbox
  4. Convert mailbox to shared mailbox, remove license
  5. Once the shared mailbox is ready, disable AD account and move AD user to the disabled user OU
  6. Confirm with POC steps completed and ask for pending items/special requests

Active Directory:

Section titled “Active Directory:”
  1. Login in DC
  2. Disable User account in AD: aaimllc.com > User Accounts > Investment Management
  3. Remove direct report
  4. Set mail nickname to match the mailing address
  5. Hide from address Book within user Attributes
  6. Move the user to the Disabled Users OU
