PROCEDURE

Please use this WI and guide when a New BBj account is requested. The design can be slightly confusing so please read carefully!

OVERVIEW

BBj accounts are most often referred to as an Operator Code. An Operator Code is an account created within the BBj system that is configured with the End-User’s Adstra Active Directory sAMAccountName. Access to the PBA is reliant on knowing your Operator Code and having the correct Active Directory account(s) & configuration.

For both Adstra and Belardi users, BBj accounts require the End-User’s computer login to match their Adstra Active Directory Username. centrexIT will ensure Active Directory accounts are provisioned and setup correctly and notify internal Adstra personnel to create the End-User’s Operator Code.

REQUIREMENTS

• AES Codes Request: Request End-User’s manager to submit an email to aecodes@adstradata.com but continue with the account creation procedure.

• Adstra Users

• PC & Mac: Computer logon matches their alc.com Active Directory sAMAccountName

• Example: jdoe must be the username they login to their computer with and jdoe must exist on the alc.com domain

• Reference KB00001743 for help creating Adstra New Users

• Belardi Wong Users

• corp.belardiwong.com & alc.com User Accounts with the same sAMAccountName

• PC & Mac: Computer logon matches their corp.belardiwong.com & alc.com Active Directory sAMAccountName

STEPS

1. Verify Adstra and Belardi Wong account status, and make sure sAMAccountName match

• Reference the Requirements Section to properly create or modify users

2. Verify the username they log into their computer with matches their sAMAccountName
3. Once requirements are fulfilled, email sara.jones@adstradata.com with the following info based on the request:

• New Accounts

• End-User Full Name:

• Start or Request by date:

• Buddy account to mirror:
