PROCEDURE WI to support requests to install Textpad 8

REQUIREMENTS

• Approval from client POC or onboarding request form

• License information is saved in 1Password > Software\APPs > Textpad 8

STEPS

1. If you do not already have the latest release of the software, please download it from textpad.com/download. Note that you do not need to download a separate licensed version.
2. Your license codes are at the end of this message. Please make a backup of them now, in case you have a disk fault, or you need to transfer your license to a new PC.

1. Select all the lines including “BEGIN LICENSE” and “END LICENSE”, and copy them to the clipboard using Ctrl+C. (Obtained from 1Password review Requirements Section)
2. Right click the shortcut you use to start the program, choose the Run As command, and run as Administrator.
3. From the Help menu, choose the Update License or Enter License Code command.
4. Paste the license information into the dialog box, using Ctrl+V.
5. Click OK.
6. Exit from the program, then restart it in the normal way.

If you have purchased a multiple user license pack, you must repeat this step on each client PC, when logged on as Administrator, but it is not necessary to do it for each user on a PC.
