REQUIREMENTS

PBA Installs & Access Requests

Confirm Manager approval
-
Onboarding Forms authorizes Cognos access
-
Cognos is a SSO integrated PBA with Adstra’s Active Directory
-
Users must have an Adstra Domain Account to login to Cognos
-
Currently there is not a Security Group controlling access (Future work being done by the Adstra Finance Development Team to change this)
-
Adstra Users: Corporate LAN or Adstra VPN

Belardi Wong Users: Corporate LAN or BW VPN
STEPS
- Confirm requirements are met above:

Adstra AD credentials
-
Appropriate network access
- Provide the url below to the End-User and test their Adstra credentials
macOS CONFIG
- Make sure alc.com, adstradata.com, & belardiwong.com are added to their network search domains (Apple > System Preferences > Network > wifi/ethernet > Advanced > Search Domains
- Use Safari
- Enable Java
- Enable JavaScript
- Block Cookies: Never
TROUBLESHOOTING
- Verify End-User & computer meet requirements (Review Requirements Section)
- Make a Public note in your ticket that the following troubleshooting actions:

Verified cog11dev server is online

Verified End-User is connected to the Adstra or BW corporate network

Verified and tested End-User’s Adstra credentials
