PROCEDURE

This procedures details the steps to install the Belardi Wong VPN.

REQUIREMENTS

• It’s required to either be connected to the centrexIT network or be able to copy the install files to the user’s computer.

STEPS

WARNING: Do not follow this procedure until you have confirmed the new user’s AD password/account have sync’d between BO-BODC1-NY (VPN Server), BW-BWDC1-NJ, BW-BWDC1-NY, and O365.

1. See the attached PowerShell script (Belardi Wong VPN.ps) or get from O:\Clients\Adstra (Blue Cava)\Belardi Wong\VPN Setup. Copy it to the target computer.

2. Right-click the Belardi Wong VPN PowerShell script and select Run with PowerShell

3. Click the Network Icon in the System Tray

4. Select Network & Internet Settings

5. Click Change adapter options

6. Right-click the Belardi Wong VPN connection and click Properties

7. Go to the Security tab. Select Allow these protocols and Enable Unencrypted password (PAP); disable all other options

8. Click OK

9. Click Start > search VPN Settings

10. Click on Belardi Wong VPN

11. Select Advanced options

12. Click Edit

13. Uncheck Remember my sign-in info (if checked)

14. Click Save

15. Go back to the Sys Tray > Belardi Wong VPN > Connect and provide End-User’s AD credentials to test connection.
