Purpose:
Section titled “Purpose:”The purpose of process management is to organize process mapping and documentation needed to support all business activities. It serves as a tool to help identify inefficiencies and waste, as well as gaps and bottlenecks that need to be corrected.
Scope:
Section titled “Scope:”Process management affects all employees and contractors within all areas of the company. A process should be designed to capture all inputs, outputs, process steps, measurements of success, time needed to perform, and all resources needed to successfully start and complete the process.
Responsibility:
Section titled “Responsibility:”- CI/QA Committee: reposnsible for establishiing the standards of document creation as well as leading CI improvement projects as well as providing support to process owners.
- Process Owner - solely responsible for owning a process, accountable for designing and managing to an effective and efficient process that produces the desired results or outcome.
