PROCEDURE

WI when End-User needs a new computer. There are two intakes: Break/Fix Incidents and submits via WP’s M365 New Computer Request form.

REQUIREMENTS

• WI assumes PC Provisioning Instructions were followed (Reference KB00002298)
• New Computer Requests (NCRs) authorizes a computer replacement/refresh
• Break/Fix Incidents (INCs) requires authorized POC approval (Reference KB00001867)
• cIT will send an email to authorized POCs and await an NCR.
• Passwordstate > Domain\Service Accounts > cIT AD Account
• N-Central/Screen Connect > Western Pump > WP-DC01

STEPS

1. Depending on computer and peripheral selection
2. New Computers or New Peripherals:
3. Coordinate quoted computer/peripherals to be delivered to Assigned Site Location from the NCR.
4. Ensure the tracking number(s) are placed into the NCR_._
5. Set an appointment with local site POC or End-User to make sure equipment arrives and is connected to the network for imaging (Reference KB00002147)
6. Verify computer object is in the correct container based on location.
7. AZ Locations: wp.local > Western Pump > Computers > AZ
8. All Other Locations: wp.local > Western Pump > Computers
9. Install & Configure WP Base Image (Reference KB00002298)
10. PBAs Installs
