Purpose: The purpose of the Sales and Revenue core process is to establish a structured, repeatable, and scalable framework for acquiring new clients, retaining exisitng clients, and generating sustainable revenue for centrexIT. This process ensures alignment between sales activities, client expectations, and the organization’s strategic goals, while maximizing client satisfaction and profitability.
Scope: The Sales and Revenue core process encompasses all activities related to:
- Lead Generation: Identifying and attracting potential clients (prospects).
- Sales Pipeline Management: Qualifying leads, nurturing prospects, and advancing opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Proposal and Contract Development: Crafting tailored proposals and finalizing agreements with clients.
- Revenue Recognition: Recording and tracking revenue from signed contracts and ongoing services.
- Client Onboarding: Handing off closed deals to the service delivery team for implementation.
- Customer Retention and Upsell: Maintaining client relationships and identifying opportunities for additional services. This process applies to all sales-related roles, marketing support functions, and leadership teams involved in revenue-generating activities. It excludes service delivery, technical support, and post-onboarding client management, which are handled by separate processes.
