_WI to support requests for Adstra employees to access Belardi Wong’s Public file share (_S:\ - \\bwdc1-ny.corp.belardiwong.com\public)

REQUIREMENTS

• Approval obtained from client POC
• User must be connected to the Adstra Network/VPN

STEPS

1. Login to CLDC1 and open Active Directory Users & Computers (ADUC)
2. Find the Adstra User’s account for reference (eg jdoe)
4. Login to BWDC1-NY and open ADUC
5. Create a New User account under the following OU:
6. corp.belardiwong.com > Belardi Wong > Adstra Users
8. User the same First and Last Name, and the same username format you see in Adstra’s Active Directory
10. Set Password to standard “Adstra onboarding password” and “Never Expire”
12. Add user to the Adstra-BW-PublicShare Group
14. On the users computer:
15. Verify they are connected to Adstra network/VPN
16. Map a network drive with the following options:
17. Drive Letter: S:\
18. Server name: \\bwdc1-ny.corp.belardiwong.com\public
19. “Reconnect at sign-in” checked
20. “Connect using different credentials” checked
22. Enter in and Save users new Belardi Wong credentials (Example):
23. Username: corp\jdoe
24. Password: [ADSTRA_ONBOARDING_STANDARD]
